Plants By Post is a locally owned plant nursery located in Campbell, California that is passionate about establishing a modernized role of plants in society.

For their creative direction, it was important for us to include a soft, organic style while also finding ways to intentionally include elements of Japanese culture within their illustrations, as they wanted the re-brand to be more connected with their family roots.

Their primary logotype mark was created using tatami grids as a base for its design and was then pulled from the computer to be modified by hand, giving it that subtle organic touch and playful arch in the “b”, before being vectorized for ease of use.
